Our love for cats began in 1973 when my husband was in the military. Our daughter Monica was 3 years old, and our son Jeffrey had just been born. She wanted a kitten, so we went to our local shelter and found two cats that we wanted. We could only take one home with us.

We had a choice between a young black and white kitten or a 3 year old Black Cat. We decided to adopt the 3 year old Black cat, because we thought he would have a harder time being adopted and he had the sweetest personality. We knew he would be perfect for our daughter Monica and our son Jeffrey. What a good decision we made that day. We named him "Blackie" and from Blackie we had 6 generations of cats connected to him. We have had so many joyful years with our cats and stories a plenty. Below you will see the cats who are in our family now. We love them all.

	Juliet Juliet is our 14 year old Mixed Siamese. She is the daughter of a rescue cat that we found in 1992. There were 3 kittens in the rescue cat's litter. Mackie, Juliet and Muffie. We found a good home for Mama and Muffie and we kept Mackie and Juliet for our own. Mackie died December 2007. Juliet is my Baby. She is with me all of the time and definitely knows she is head of our house.
	Purrcy Purrcy is our 7 year old Black and White Tuxedo Boy. He is a Short-Haired Cat. We were getting groceries in 2001 and at the drive up lane outside 2 little girls were trying to find homes for their kitties. Purrcy was one of them and I knew he was meant to come and live with us. He bonded with my husband from the first day. Did not like me very much, was so jealous of me. He would actually chase me around the house. Purrcy has the most personality. My husband says he just gets up on the wrong side of the bed sometimes I am not so sure about that but I know we love Purrcy so much.
	Sebastian Sebastian is our 16 lb. 4 year old Lynx Point Ragdoll. He came to be part of our family after we had lost his half brother to early Kidney Failure, his name was also Sebastian. Sebastian will definitely steal your heart with his beautiful blue eyes and his sweet Ragdoll personality. He is the biggest flirt and knows he is a gorgeous cat. He knows and watches everything that goes on in our house, nothing ever gets by Sebastian. He is our Sweetie.
	Smokey Smokey is the Baby of our Cat Family. He walked up to our home in March 2008 and adopted us. He is a Mixed Russian Blue, and we think he is about 3 years old. He has been such a joy for us. He is so much like Mackie our Black Cat that died in Dec. 2007. Smokey is a nurturer and loves all people and especially loves other cats. He has really found a special place in our heart, and reminds us every day of Mackie.
